While you folks are doing your Saturday thing and perhaps checking out ol’ Giz now and then , somebody ’s get ta write it . That somebody is me , and this is what it looks like . From a cursor’s - eye position anyway .
You may have seen these sort of visualzations before ; they ’re the product of an awe-inspiring little program call IOGraphthat you could download and mess with yourself . You should . It ’s useless and playfulness .
IOGraphs are nothing new , but I ’ve been want to make one for a Saturday ’s work for a while , and here it is in all its 8.1 hour of gloriole . The stock are mouse movement ( duh ) and the fat round are cursor stops . The homocentric circles — from what I can tell — have nothing to do with clicking though , and are essentially randomized to leave a little bit of Transportation mutant .

As you could see , it ’s pretty busy , particularly up in the Chrome - pill field . And it ’s peppered with cursor stops from short muscle spasm of penning here and there , and a salubrious chunk of joule - pressing Google Reader - age . So there you have it , in case you ever wondered . Now go enjoy your Saturday night ; you may depend your rear I ’ll be enjoying mine . Away from the computer .
