Liam Hemsworthis on the mend — but not without a little ribbing from his colleagues.
The 29-year-old actor skipped the Monday premiere of his newRebel Wilson-led romantic comedyIsn’t It Romantic,after beinghospitalized over the weekendfor kidney stones.
“Poor guy. I know he’s in a lot of pain and it really sucks what he’s going through, ’cause I know that he would want to be here and he’s a really fun guy to have around, so I’m really bummed about it,” said Devine, 35.

Hemsworth — who alsoskipped out on the Grammys, Sunday — had his new wifeMiley Cyrusattend the premiereon his behalf while he stayed hometo recover from the kidney stones, PEOPLE previously confirmed.
A source close to the star told PEOPLE that although Hemsworth “was briefly hospitalized,” he is now “at home resting and will be fine.”

After she walked the carpet solo in a red Maison Valentino dress, the actress and singerexplained on her social media accountsthat her husband was not in attendance because it was “crucial” that he was focused on his health.
In aseparate Instagram post, Cyrus, who was posed in front of a photo featuring Hemsworth playing saxophone, left a flirty message for her new husband.
“Getting sick blows. But so do I. Get well soon babe. I love you,” she wrote. “Play that sax you sexy f—. ❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️”

Hemsworthissued a statement on his Instagramaccount after the premiere, as well, where he apologized for missing the event and gave a sweet shout-out to his wife. Along with the message, he shared several photos of Cyrus, including one of her posing with Wilson, 38.
“Sorry I couldn’t make it to the@isntitromanticpremier tonight guys. Been dealing with some pretty annoying health stuff the last couple days,” explained the Australian actor.
“Lucky I have the best girl in the world to represent for me! Thanks for the support babe!” Hemsworth added. “I hope everyone enjoys the movie! It’s a perfectValentine’s Dayflick so if ya ain’t got nothin better to do then go see it! Love to all!”
