On Wednesday, Lima clapped back at her critics with a post on her Instagram Story. She shared a makeup-free photo of herself, writing, “The face of a tired mom of one teenage girl, two preteens, a 1-year-old learning to walk, and three dogs.”

Lima and Lemmers, 42,welcomed their first childtogether, sonCyan Lima, in August 2022. The model opened up to PEOPLE earlier this year about how she was choosing toembrace her postpartum body.
“Every day I have to remind myself, ‘Listen, accept who you are. Accept your body,'” she said at a Victoria’s Secret event in April.

At the time, Lima said she was focusing on maintaining a daily exercise routine and practicing acceptance with the changes to her body. “And I struggle every day,” she admitted. “Every day, I have to remind myself, I’m human. I get insecure here and there.”
“And then every day, I learn new things. And with age, your body reacts differently,” she added. “But it’s okay. I’m learning.”

“I feel that as a woman, and still being in fashion — I’m 42 years old and a mom with five kids, so I feel that I’m still being celebrated in this stage of my life,” she said at a September event in honor of Victoria’s Secret’s The Tour.
“It’s great to see that no matter what stage you are [in life], for my kids and the new models coming up, it’s uplifting."
