Angel Reeseis single — and ready to focus on March Madness!

On Instagram Live Tuesday, the LSU star, 21, shared with fans that she is no longer dating Cam’Ron Fletcher, the Florida State basketball player who she had been linked to since last summer.

“Yeah, I’m single,” Reese told her followers. “I don’t got no man. Don’t attach me to no man. That’s all I’mma say. That’s it.”

Reese, who scrubbed Fletcher, 21, from her Instagram account, also seemingly elaborated on why the two split.

“I do what’s best for me, that’s it,” she said. “I’m the catch! Let’s not get it twisted.”

Reese’s third-ranked LSU Tigers take on No. 14 Rice on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in a quest to repeat as national champions.

Two months afterLSU wonthe title last year, Reese confirmed that she and the former Kentucky player were an item.

“Cam’Ron is my boyfriend,” she said at the time. “We both play the same sport so we understand each other’s schedule,” she shared. “I think that also helps with it too.”

Later that month, the couple vacationed in Jamaica, and posted photos against scenic backdrops and posed in Balenciaga poolside.

“Bad gyal w/ her bad boy,” Reese wrote in one caption.

Shaquille O’Nealwalked Reese and her mother, also named Angel, from the locker room onto the court at his alma mater LSU, where Reese was honored.

Reese’s mother and O’Neal sported custom-made shirts with animations of the LSU star on the front. On the back, the shirts said, “Bayou Barbie is My Favorite Senior,” referring to Reese’s well-known nickname.

O’Neal is a big supporter of Reese, andtold PEOPLE earlier this weekthat he only pays attention to NCAA women’s basketball these days.

“I hate to say it, but the women players are kicking the men’s butts. You’ve got myAngel Reese. You’ve got all the girls from South Carolina. You’ve gotJuJu Watkins, you’ve gotCaitlin Clark.”

O’Neal explained, “It’s just a better game, just more competitive.”
