Apple’slatest patent filingrevolves around dual - handed touchscreen espial for typing , gesticulate , controlling a 3D user interface and handwriting . But it this intended for the fabledApple Tablet , or something entirely different ?
Apple Insider says this multitouch interface is designed to spot specific user work force extend to the gimmick ( personalized profiles ! ) , and could secernate between actions such as typing , or hand just take a breather on the open . There ’s also talk of scrollwheel elements for introductory OS X ascendence and tactile feedback that would n’t disrupt move across the twist surface .
Obviously , this seems like a fit for a pad - based keyboard interface . But maybe it could work as a standalone as well . Many of the social function described revolve mostly around keyboard / tablet like functions , and subsitution gestures for unmediated object manipulation . And in the patent flow diagram , the display seems to be listed as an entirely unlike component . Then again , it could just be a Red Herring . [ Apple InsiderviaElectronista ]
