S.A.M. is one of many character reference creations by Daniel Baker , a concept artist at Blitz games in the UK . turn back out some of his unusual ocean - going ship and military bot below .
Though I wish well they were in sharp focal point , I understand why Baker chose to enshroud these rock-and-roll - formation sauceboat in brumous daze . They look like the sort of vessels that faeries would ride around in . At the same prison term , they also front like the staring camouflage for bots like S.A.M. , rid out to sea on an underwater military mission .
Also I love these silhouettes of bot soldiers . Something about the stark black - and - blanched makes them more sinister and evocative .
