Chairbot Walks You Around While You Sit

What do you get when you combine a automaton and a chair ? The Hubo FX-1 chairbot , of course . In what is perhaps my best-loved automaton blueprint yet , this giant chair with legs looks like it come out of some laughable ’ 80s sci - fi movie or something , but it ’s very , very real .

It looks good so far , but what they really need to do is figure out how to get the legs shut down up underneath so it can baby-sit on the ground as a regular professorship . Then , when your booster sits down , you hit a push button on the remote ascendancy and suddenly he ’s 6 metrical unit in the aura and terrified on a walking chairbot . Awesome .
