When I heard about the newBurger King Whopper Bar , my straightaway thought was that it would n’t be the first billet I ’d go for a cocktail . Then I read they wo n’t be dish up alcohol , and I knew I would n’t be go to a Whopper Bar any time soon . This also reminded me of Burger King ’s other late steel extension " “ a new fragrancy call Flame by BK . This sum perfume was obviously a promotional stunt designed to betray more burgers , but in general , bodied brand extensions are serious attempt to grow a brand beyond its initial mountain range of products . Sometimes the maneuver work , and other times it just leads to some sound comedy .

We first knew them as the party that made very reliable written material cat’s-paw . Then Bic got into the disposable light and razor market , and we still bought their products . But we had to force the line somewhere ( get it ? ! ) , and the thought of disposable underwear just was n’t that appealing .

Several brand name have dipped into the lip balm product class . The canonic rule is , ' if it tastes good , why not smudge it on your aspect ? ' But I do n’t think whole kit and boodle with high mallow product . Frito - Lay get in the game in 2005 when they launched Cheetos lip balm . Now perhaps it was a great way to experience the delectable joy that is Cheetos , with only a fraction of the calories , but the loads of disconfirming reviews have win over me that it was an musical theme ahead of its time . One thing is sure – I really want some Cheetos right now .
3. Lifesavers Soda
Lifesavers Soda was introduced back in the 80s , and was off the shelf not too long after that . It came in five flavour , and apparently did well in taste tryout before the launch . But the name just did n’t process with the product , as consumer just were n’t looking for a confect they could drink .
4. Colgate Kitchen Entrees
Maybe it ’s me , but guess of the taste of toothpaste while love my veal scallopini just does n’t seem appetising . It ’s no wonder this stigma of microwavable dinner main course did n’t last very long . Not even the potentiality for a dazzling livid smile was enough to drive sales .
