As if Google ’s cyber - glasses were n’t sci - fi enough , the hunting giant is also apparently look into cyber - glove . The letters patent “ Seeing with your hand”has been grant to Google , and could be the beginning of a future Glass peripheral machine .
The patent outlines a baseball glove with a camera on the fingertip , with gyroscopes and accelerometer built into the finger . The primary guts , the CPU , RAM would be backpack into the palm , and the wireless chip locate on the back of the paw .
While there ’s nothing in the letters patent to explicitly connect this to Google Glass , a smart baseball glove does seem like it would partner off nicely with the headset , which seems like it could be lack in input options . A smart glove could allow users to imitate typing , or execute touchscreen - vogue motion in the air to control a ( perhaps middle - mounted ) show . Crazy futuristic functionality away if Google is working on sassy gloves and not just patenting them , they ’re still years away . It looks like Google might be drop dead all the way of life with this whole “ overbold [ accessory ] ” idea . Makes you wonder what else is on the list to smartify . [ Tom ’s Hardware ]
