Jennie Garth‘s latest Instagram selfie had her followers questioning whether she’d had “major plastic surgery” or “too much Botox” — criticisms to which the 46-year-old actress swiftly responded.
Garth shared a photo of herself smiling and posing next to herBeverly Hills, 90210costarTori Spelling, as the two visited Israel to film a commercial for aCastro Kidsfashion event.
“Working with my favorite partner in crime!” Garth captioned the pic of herself and Spelling, 45, on Monday. “Thank you @castrofashion @castrofashion_kids #israel We ❤️Israel @90210onfox @torispelling.”
Critics soon began commenting on Garth’s post, and to many of the remarks, Garth left sarcastic observations of her own.
“Oh Jennie! You are beautiful and don’t need all that Botox! Sadly you are unrecognizable here!” wrote one critic, to which Garth wrote back, “Thank you?”
“Omg what happened to your face?” another said, prompting laughter from Garth. “Ha you’re amazing,” she said.
Only one troll seemed to garner a sincere response from Garth. “Omg! You seem so fake …” wrote a Garth follower, Garth responding, “Nope, I’m human.”
She later sent a fan who defended her a kissy-face emoji.
