Local reports indicate Beulah Park Elementary School immediately placed Tolefree on administrative leave once the charges came to light. The allegations date back to 2008, when he was working in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The Kenosha News,citing the criminal complaint against Tolefree, reports an unnamed woman came forward in late 2018 with allegations the educator began abusing her when she was a 17-year-old junior at Bradford High School....

Capps, 54, allegedly held a gun at police who responded to the kidnapping incident, Metropolitan Nashville Police Department public affairs director Don Aaron said in a “critical incident briefing.” Per Aaron, SWAT officers went to the home on Summit Run Pl. to execute a warrant against Capps for two counts of aggravated kidnapping and two counts of aggravated assault “for holding his 60-year-old wife and his 23-year-old stepdaughter in the home at gunpoint during the night....

CNNreports that Greenland’s ice sheet normally goes through a melt season during the summer. The melting usually starts around the end of May, but this year’s began at the start of the month instead. Ruth Mottram, a climate scientist with the Danish Meteorological Institute, told the outlet that the sheet has been melting “persistently” since May, during hot summer months that haverecorded all-time temperature highsin Europe and other parts of the world....

Inglis, 46, was riding her bike eastbound when the driver drifted into the bike lane and collided with her, the Lakewood Police Departmentsaid in a statement. She was transported to the local hospital, where she died of her injuries. Police arrested the driver of the vehicle, who was identified as 29-year-old Ryan Scott Montoya.
