The Philadelphia Phillies are headed to the National League Championship Series — and they have the hangovers to show for it!
After closing out the Atlanta Braves and winning the division series 3-1 on Thursday night, the Phillies celebrated with a raucous locker room champagne-and-beer bash, where players wore super-sized goggles to fend off the seemingly never-ending flow of adult beverages.
A shirtless Stubbs used all of the pockets in his overalls to hold his beer, as teammates poured more on his head while Cher’s “Believe” boomed from the clubhouse’s speakers.

Even other Philly sports stars got in on the celebratory action, according toThe Philadelphia Inquirer. Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, along with teammate Jordan Davis, were seen congratulating right fielder Nick Castellanos, while 76ersJoel Embiidand Tyrese Maxey were also there to spread the goodwill, the newspaper reported.
